BRSP held a launching Ceremony of the 16 Days Activism Campaign against Gender-Based Violence with the collaboration of UNFPA Pakistan & EVAW&G Alliance at #BRSP head office, Quetta. The main objective of the event was to sensitise the audience on human rights, especially Gender-Based Violence. This year’s theme is “End violence Against Women Now” which translates to “Tashuded ka khatama aj or abi “.

The participants were UN agencies, EVAW&G Alliance, UN Women parliamentary secretaries, government line departments including WDD (Woman Development Department) and civil society members. The 16 days of activism starts from 25 November and ends on 10 December every year.

Dr. Rubaba Khan Buledi- Chairperson Women Caucus, Ms-Roshan Khursheed Bharucha-Chairperson PPAF graced the event with her presence along with Ms. Ayesha Wadood-Provincial Head of UN Women Balochistan, Malik Anwar Saleem Kasi-Chairman BRSP BoD, Watan Yar Khilji Chairperson EVAG Alliance, Ms. Jahanara Tabasum-Deputy Director Women Development Department Balochistan, and Mr. Naimatullah Jan Miryani Senior Manager BRSP.
