Balochistan Rural Support Programme partnered with The Rural Support Programmes Network (RSPN) and the Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) to implement its conditional cash transfer (CCT) programme Waseela e Taleem (WeT) in 4 districts of Balochistan i.e. Qila Abdullah, Naseer Abad, Kohlu, and Sherani.
Under this programme, 52,616 children between ages 4-12 years from 4 districts Balochistan belonging to BISP beneficiary families will be registered with WeT, and those who are out of school will be enrolled at local public and private schools.
Upon completion of 70% attendance by registered children at schools, the BISP beneficiary family will receive cash assistance of Rs. 750 per child per quarter. This conditional cash transfer will continue until the child completes his/her primary education.
