Completed Projects

Since its inception in 1991, BRSP has implemented several projects in sectors i.e. social mobilization and awareness raising, livestock, agriculture, community hysical infrastructure, basic health and nutrition, education, capacity building and human resource development in 18 districts of Balochistan primarily targeting to break the poverty cycle of rural communities. The most effective tool in implementing all these interventions is social mobilization that focuses on grassroots institutional development and strengthening.

Besides its regular rural development initiatives, BRSP spearheaded the process of emergency response in 2007. After the devastating flood in Balochistan, BRSP conducted an assessment to appraise the losses in the affected districts. Based on its assessment, BRSP mobilized resources and implemented projects on health, education, shelter, nutrition, protection, water and sanitation, agriculture and distribution of food and non food items.
